The WHO report on the global tobacco epidemic tracks countries’ progress on tobacco control since 2008. The thenth edition of the report published in 2025 shows that progress in tobacco control continues, albeit slowly. Country profiles from the Western Pacific, which were generated from data collected for the report, are available below.
