The WHO report on the global tobacco epidemic tracks countries’ progress on tobacco control since 2008. The eighth report published in 2021 shows that many countries are making progress in the fight against tobacco, despite the exceptional challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Country profiles from the Western Pacific, which were generated from data collected for the report, are available below.
