In 2022, the WHO Regional Committee for the Western Pacific Region endorsed the Regional Framework for Reaching the Unreached in the Western Pacific (2022-2030). The framework will support transformed healthcare delivery and public health systems across the Region so that they routinely reach everyone, everywhere and ensure equitable health outcomes. A core focus of this framework lies in the progressive strengthening of data and evidence systems, enabling the identification of unreached populations and the formulation of necessary interventions.

WHO designed this Integrated Communicable Disease dashboard to provide data and digital tools to catalyze regional surveillance, analysis, and strategic planning for effectively responding to various communicable diseases, including tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis, malaria, and neglected tropical diseases. It offers a unified platform for monitoring disease burdens and provides insights to assist decision-making.

The dashboard has three sections; Overview, Disease Burden, and Top Indicators. The Overview page displays key indicators of focused communicable diseases. The Disease Burden page provides an interactive data visualization tool that facilitates cross-disease and cross-country comparisons of disease burden estimates. The ChatGPT feature is available in this tool to describe disease burden trends and patterns using selected data. The Top Indicators page shows disease-wide programmatic indicators by country. Disease-specific dashboards can be accessible from the Overview page for more detailed information.

The dashboard will continue to be upgraded with additional data and visualization to help users identify achievements and challenges in reaching the unreached populations.
