These datasets are from the World Health Organization Global Health Observatory (GHO). The GHO data repository is WHO's gateway to health-related statistics for its 194 Member States. For the Western Pacific Health Data Platform, GHO data are available for the 37 Member States and areas in the Western Pacific Region.

Data are available for over 1000 indicators on topics including mortality and burden of disease, reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition, immunization, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, neglected tropical disease, water and sanitation, non-communicable diseases and risk factors, epidemic-prone diseases, health systems, environmental health, violence and injuries, equity among others.

GHO datasets represent the best estimates of WHO using methodologies for specific indicators that aim for comparability across countries and time; they are updated as more recent or revised data become available, or when there are changes to the methodology being used. Therefore, they are not always the same as official national estimates, although WHO whenever possible will provide Member States the opportunity review and comment on data and estimates as part of country consultations. See the GHO indicator list for indicator specific information.
