  • Western Pacific Region accounts for one fourth of the global cervical cancer burden, and approximately 90% of that burden is in LMICs
  • Cervical cancer is the sixth most diagnosed cancer and the eighth most common cause of cancer deaths among women in the Region
  • In 2020, an estimated 145 700 women were diagnosed, and 74 900 women died from cervical cancer in the Region.
