The Strategic Framework for the Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Cervical Cancer in the Western Pacific Region 2023–2030 proposes three strategic actions and three enablers/overarching priorities.

The strategic actions for the elimination of cervical cancer in the Region include:
- strategic action to strengthen primary prevention through HPV vaccination;
- strategic action to improve secondary prevention through cervical cancer screening and early treatment of precancerous lesions; and
- strategies to improve service access for early diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care.
The three enablers and priorities are:
- health system and services strengthening;
- sustainable financing mechanisms; and
- advocacy, health education, communication and community engagement.
