Universal Health Coverage Day 2022

The cost of healthcare is one of the barriers to accessing health services and achieving universal health coverage in Mongolia. In 2018, 7.19% of the population spent more than 10% of the total household budget on health; in rural areas, catastrophic health expenditure affected 6.72% of the population.
