In the Western Pacific Region, the burden of malaria has been variable, where malaria remains a public health concern in several countries, including Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Viet Nam.
This malaria dashboard aims to facilitate monitoring and tracking the progress of malaria programme activities within these countries and the Region. The Overview page provides a snapshot, displaying key malaria indicators on estimated disease burden, reported cases and deaths, laboratory tests, malaria species and classification at both regional and country levels. The Country Comparison page provides cross-country comparative analyses of the selected indicators.
The dashboard will continue to be upgraded with additional data and visualization to help users identify achievements and challenges in the regional and national malaria response.
